What we are looking for

We are looking for an individual with a strong interest in responsible AI, eager to contribute to addressing AI’s legal, societal, and ethical implications. In your prospective role, you will work on several projects focused on ensuring the ethical, social and legal application of AI in various sectors. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to design a certified training curriculum for the ethical use of digital technologies in the public sector.

Required Skills 

  • Master’s degree in PPLE, Law & Digital Technology, International/EU Law, Socio-legal studies, Technology and Society, or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of working or research experience in AI & law, AI ethics, AI & social sciences, AI policy, or AI governance/assurance is a pro
  • Good comprehension of EU law, in particular the AI Act, GDPR and relevant digital laws or willingness to quickly familiarise yourself with them
  • Affinity with AI and other digital technologies
  • Proficiency in Dutch is highly preferred and English is required

We are looking for an intern for 1 day a week, to help us with marketing, communication and organization of events and knowledge sessions.

What could you be doing?

Even if it is not set in stone, we think it is important to give you an idea of possible activities. You can think of:

  • Updates, articles and blogs about ALLLAI’s activities on website and social media
  • Co-developing and sending a yet to be launched “Responsible AI” newsletter
  • Help organize masterclasses, expert sessions and (online) events
  • And much more…

Who are you?

  • You are an advanced student of marketing/communicatie/organisation
  • You are familiar with the activities of ALLAI and you have an affinity with the social, ethical and legal impact of AI
  • You are interested in European and international policy
  • Your English is good, oral as well as written (working language is ENG/NL)
  • You are creative in the use of language and visuals
  • You have experience with WordPress, Mailchimp, Typeform, Jotform, Piktochart, Miro (or you are able to quickly master this)
